The ever-popular and well-run Bridgestone BMW Car Club Gauteng track day season gets underway at Zwartkops on Sunday 5 March.
The club has revisited the format of these events somewhat and added more classes to participate in both for BMW owners and non-BMW owners.
The Porsche Club Central continue their partnership in these events, as have a gaggle of Nissan GT-R’s signed up to participate in their own class for all of 2017.
Hosting sponsors Legacy Motor Group, who own and operate the Zambesi Auto and Menlyn Auto BMW dealers, are coming out in full M force for the event. It kicks off with what they hope will be the biggest convoy of BMW M Vehicles in the world. The convoy leaves their Zambesi Auto dealership early in the morning on a breakfast run with Zwartkops being their final destination.
There are a number of activities planned at the track for their M customers, but if you are a BMW M owner and want to be part of the convoy, please contact Alwyn Du Toit on 012 523 3600.
The Bridgestone Hot Lap vehicle will be running all day taking passengers around the circuit with a professional driver for just R100. Just come on the day and sign up, but please note long pants are mandatory.
The event kicks off at 09:30 AM.
Entry to spectators is free at the gate, food and refreshments will be on sale.
You will also be able to see the latest BMW models on display by Legacy Motor Group and purchase BMW Lifestyle and BMW Car Club clothing and accessories
