They will be published on RacePress.co.za free of charge. Speaking of coverage and reach, just a quick insight of our stats this month alone. Since its official launch earlier this month the RacePress.co.za website has seen over 2800 unique visitors already. Within a week the RacePress Facebook page got well over 500 likes and climbing daily. The weekly reach would suggest at this stage a reach of approximately 10 000 people. A figure we are sure will be rising sharply in the coming weeks. The RacePics.co.za website receive approximately 2000 to 3000 unique visitors per month and consistently a weekly average of over 50 000 people are reached on Facebook alone. Seeing these figures should have you thinking: “Why am I not with the best team in motorsport media, Team RacePics!”

We also plan to make advertisement slots and areas available on the websites for advertising and promotion opportunities. So if you want to get in on it while it’s sizzling hot, brand spanking new and have everyone talking, contact us without further delay.

Qualifying

The Zwartkops round saw three new names for the 2017 season taking the top spots in Class A+. Zimbabwe’s Darren Winterboer (Barons Motor Spares F30 335i) took pole position by just clipping Gianni Giannoccaro (G&H Transport/Itre Cugini Logi 1M GT).

Heading up the second row was Adrian Dalton (Xtra Shoes & Clothing CLS) ahead of the first of the Class A campaigners and reigning champion Julian Fameliaris (Tower Crane Services, Lube-Net E36 328i Turbo). Lorenzo Gualtieri (Savspeed/Powermods/L&R Auto Electric E36 328i Turbo) slotted into fifth place on the grid ahead of Stefano Martinelli (Dalucon Insulated Panels E36 328i Turbo) making his return after missing Round 2 at Red Star Raceway.

This sure promised for some fast paced racing out front with the faster cars joining the grid for this round of the championship.

Inland Championship

The third round of the 2017 Inland Championship will visit the popular Zwartkops Raceway outside Pretoria for what is promised to be another action packed affair on 8 April 2017. With the various race category championships taking shape one can expect those trailing in points will do their best to narrow the gap on a more familiar circuit.

The Bridgestone BMW Club Racing Series is expected to produce yet again a large field of entrants on the day. The previous round at Red Star Raceway saw a proper shake-up in class A with Lorenzo Gualtieri (BMW E36 328i Turbo) entering for the first time this season and grabbing a chunk of points from class leader Julian Fameliaris (BMW E36 328i Turbo). Not too far off on points is his cousin Dino Fameliaris (BMW E36 M3 Turbo) that seems to have all the gremlins from the previous seasons sorted on his vehicle. Just a single point behind him is Mish-al Sing (BMW E30 325is). 2015 Champion Darren Winterboer (BMW F30 335i) also makes a welcome return to Class A, and will be chasing down Gianni Giannoccaro (BMW E82 1M GT) at the front of the field.
