BRIDGESTONE BMW CCG Club Racing Series Round 2 – Phakisa Freeway – 11 and 12 April 2014

The second round of the Bridgestone / BMW CCG Club Racing Series is set to head down to the Phakisa Freeway in the sleepy mining town of Welkom in the Free State on 11 / 12 April. Being the only opportunity for the series to visit this popular race circuit during the 2014 season, a bumper entry is expected for the weekend. BMW Car Club Gauteng
After the first event of the year, the 2014 Championship has already started to create much interest. A mere 8 points separate the top 10 drivers! Bruce Turner (E36 328i) and Carlo Garbini (E46 M3) are tied on points at the top of the log. The chase behind them is just as close with Warren Dodd (E36 325i) and Justin Robertson (E36 328i) only a few points behind the leaders.
